Conclusion Report

Kerala Samajam Frankfurt celebrated this year’s Easter/Vishu on Sunday, 14th April at the Parish Hall of St. Bernhard Church in Frankfurt. 

The Programme started at 5 pm with the welcome speech of the Samajam President Mr. Mathew Koottakkara. In his welcome speech, the President made a special request to the young generation in Frankfurt to take up an active role in the Samajam activities.

Rev. Fr. Paul Devadas and Shri K. Narayana Swamy stressed the importance of the Easter/Vishu celebration in their felicitation speeches. Mrs. Narayana Swamy presented the ‘Vishukkani’ decoration.

The Easter Presentation showing stills of Jesus on the Cross, Death and Resurrection was highly appreciated by the audience. The presentation confirmed the extra ordinary talent of the young artist of the Kerala Samajam Frankfurt Ms. Gina Odathuparampil, who organized the entire show. Mr. Josekumar Cholemkery as Jesus and Mrs. Mariakutty Joseph as Mother Mary were at their best. 

Classical and Folk dances staged by Sonia Odathuparampil, Ruby John, Jasmin Alummoottil, Sujitha Pallivathukkal and Nadeen Edathiruthikkaran were highly applauded by the public. Sibu Mundianappurath played his best melody on Violin.

After a good dinner with vegetable fried rice and chicken, Samajam Music Club cheered the public with inspiring music. The ‘Ganamela’ under the direction of Mr. Jose Thinamparampil presented the best of Malayalam songs with the following artists at the stage:

The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks by Secretary Mr. John Mathew. The executive committee of the Kerala Samajam Frankfurt takes this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to each and everyone who contributed towards the success of this year’s Easter/Vishu celebration.
